Announcing the 5th Annual Mayor's Awards for Excellence in Historic Preservation
The District of Columbia Historic Preservation Office (DCHPO) is currently accepting nominations for the 5th Annual Mayor's Awards for Excellence in Historic Preservation. The 2007 awards program slated for this fall will honor significant contributions by individuals, organizations, and businesses promoting historic preservation in the District of Columbia. Nominations will be accepted through June 30, 2007 for the following categories:
Individual Lifetime Achievement for Excellence in Historic Preservation
Excellence in Stewardship
Excellence in Community Involvement
Excellence in Historic Preservation
Excellence in Public Education
Excellence in Archaeology
Copies of the application and submission guidelines are available on the Historic Preservation Office website at: planning.dc.gov/preservation. Please select Mayor's Awards.
