Dear Jack,

I am writing to request that the minutes of the August ANC meeting be modified.

The Minutes say:

"Monica Rubio spoke of her complaints about the commercial district"

I did not. Maybe my not so good English was hard to understand.

What I said went along these lines:

1. My family's life is being affected by the operation of alcohol serving establishments in MtP St., particularly Don Juan. Noise, trash, public urination and --mostly--- safety problems caused by rowdy patrons, are issues we face today.
2. Increased night traffic will worsen these problems. For that reason I ask for some responsibility from those who want to bring about change (meaning the ANC and Hear MTP). Nothing I see in the Hear MTP VA makes me comfortable that any change would be responsible change.

If the ANC requires help summarizing these points in one line, I would suggest something like this:

"Monica Rubio spoke against the new Hear MtP VA, particularly as it would apply to Don Juan".

I should note that these minutes have been accepted by the ANC, so I can't change a thing without Commission approval. I'll request that at the next meeting. Shouldn't be any problem with that. -- Jack
