This occurred Saturday afternoon when the streets of Mt. Pleasant are very active.
Robbery (Knife): 3100 block 17th St., NW Saturday 7-28-07 3:33 pm
Complainant reports while walking in the listed location he was approached by two suspects.
Suspect (1) stated, "Give us one dollar a piece." Both suspects brandished knives and suspect (1) grabbed the complainant by the arm, while suspect (2) reached into the complainant’s front right pocket and removed his wallet.
Taken was a brown wallet containing $265.00 U.S. currency, one credit card, personal papers.
Lookout for suspect (1) H/M, 20`s, 5`06", heavy build, light complexion, wearing a polo shirt with orange stripes and blue jeans; suspect (2) H/M, late 20`s, 5`04", slim build, light complexion, wearing a polo shirt with green stripes.
