ALICE DEAL MIDDLE SCHOOL ACCEPTING OUT-OF-BOUNDARY APPLICATIONS

Alice Deal Middle School, a District of Columbia Public School in Northwest DC is accepting out-of-boundary applications for students entering grade 7 or 8 in August of 2008. Located near the Tenleytown red line metro stop, Deal currently enrolls children from every ward of Washington DC (and DC Metro operates a bus just for Deal students from Mt. Pleasant during the school year). Deal has a long and successful history of academic achievement and offers a rich and diverse number of extracurricular activities, including boys and girls sports teams for the Fall, Winter and Spring seasons, an annual musical, and highly competitive debate and Mathcounts teams. Applications are accepted online through the DCPS website (www.k12.dc.us/offices/oss/oob/index.htm) until midnight March 12.
