Amazing Life Games Preschool, located at 16th and Varnum Streets, NW, is currently holding weekly tours for families interested in learning more about our program for admission in fall 2012. ALG is a parent cooperative preschool that has been in existence for 40 years and is open to children ages 2.5 to 5 years of age. ALG uses a play-centered approach to develop and nurture the whole child by building confidence, problem solving skills, persistence and curiosity.

ALG has a highly skilled and stable teaching staff and enhances learning through weekly enrichment classes (e.g. yoga, music, dramatic play). As a cooperative, parents are deeply engaged in developing our program and are an integral part of the learning process. It is our hope that every child in our program is stimulated and challenged, encouraged to explore the world at his or her own pace, and able to develop independence while fostering strong social skills.
